SEIFSA Annual Golf and Padel Day Event 2026
SEIFSA Golf & Padel Day 2026
Record turnout, a R100,000 hole-in-one and a day that brought industry together
SEIFSA’s Annual Golf & Padel Day was held at Randpark Club for the first time on 21 August 2026, bringing together members, industry leaders, clients, sponsors and partners for one of the biggest events on the SEIFSA calendar.
This year saw a record turnout, with 74 fourballs competing across the Firethorn and Bushwillow courses and 35 players taking to the padel courts.
And there was one moment nobody expected.
A player on the Firethorn course achieved a spectacular hole-in-one on the 17th hole, securing the R100,000 hole-in-one prize.
Celebrating our winners
There was plenty of competition across both courses.
ARMCO Superlite (Pty) Ltd recorded the highest score of the day with 107 points, making them the overall winners of the 2026 SEIFSA Golf Day and taking first place on Firethorn.
On Bushwillow, Coleus Packaging took first place with 97 points, followed by Old Mutual with 96 points and GHH Mining with 95 points.
On Firethorn, RiseUp Management finished second with 104 points, followed by Revive Electrical Transformers (Pty) Ltd in third with 97 points.
The Best Stand, sponsored by SEIFSA, went to Mitek Industries South Africa (Pty) Ltd on Bushwillow and Old Mutual on Firethorn.
Padel brings its own energy
Now in its second year as part of the SEIFSA Golf & Padel Day, the padel tournament continued to grow.
Juexin Fire Engineering took first place, Industrial Water Cooling (Pty) Ltd finished second and Howden Africa (Pty) Ltd took third.
The Best Vibe/Gees Award went to Iva Msolozi and Carol Figueiredo of Industrial Water Cooling, recognising the energy they brought to the courts.
More than golf and padel
The day was also about creating opportunities for people across the metals and engineering sector to connect outside the usual business environment.
Watering hole sponsors brought their own activities and hospitality to both courses, while Unicare Bassonia Pharmacy offered complimentary health screenings to participants during the day.
A special thank you goes to our headline sponsor, the Rand Mutual Assurance Prevention Programme, whose continued partnership and support helped make the 2026 event possible.
We also thank all our watering hole sponsors, prize sponsors and supporting partners. Each contribution added something to the day and to the experience of our participants.
Most importantly, thank you to the golfers and padel players who joined us. Events like this are ultimately about the people who participate, the relationships that are built and the conversations that continue long after the day is over.
We look forward to doing it all again in 2027.
